What Does It Take To Really Make It
In Sales?

 

Economies have always relied on the salesperson to keep business flowing.  Without effective, honest salespeople who are out helping solve others' problems and filling their needs with products and services, the business world would collapse.  Every industry needs great, ethical salespeople and no amount of marketing efforts can ever replace this human element.

But why do so many people struggle with sales and even condemn it?  Why are salespeople often shunned by prospects who could truly use their products or services?  Why do few people really succeed in sales?

Most people fail in sales because they aren't sufficiently trained to sell. 

If you aren't properly trained to sell, you won't enjoy it.  You'll dislike the whole activity, including other salespeople.  You may even resort to high-pressure tactics, further giving sales a bad name.
